* 2019-2029 KSDE Professional Standards Board – currently serves on the board responsible for developing and recommending for adoption rules and regulations for professional standards governing teaching and school administrator preparation and admissions to and continuance in the profession of teaching and school administrations, including the requirements for continuing education for teachers and school administrators.
2018 - 2024 KSDE Accreditation Advisory Council provides input and recommendations to the Kansas State Department of Education on accreditation-related topics, specifically related to the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA) model.
* SECD Committee 2009-11 I served on KSDE's Character Education Initiative for Developing the Standard for Social Emotional and Character Development (SECD) in Kansas developing the standard and resources to support teachers in and out of the classroom, and suggest ways of implementing in their classroom.
